GoldenGate Software and Insession Technologies Announce Extended Channel Partnership and Availability of a Dual-Site Processing Solution for BASE24 Banking and Retail Customers

GoldenGate and Insession unveil D24 for BASE24 users on HP NonStop, enabling high availability, load balancing.

Barcelona, Spain - EMEA BASE24 User Group Conference - May 18, 2004 - GoldenGate Software, Inc. (www.goldengate.com), a leader in data synchronization, and its channel partner, Insession Technologies, a business unit of Transaction Systems Architects (TSA) (Nasdaq: TSAI) and leading provider of e-business technologies for business critical operations, today announced the extension of their channel sales partnership agreement through 2008 and the availability of a new product, D24, featuring enhancements for ACI's BASE24-atm(R) and BASE24-pos(R) users on the HP NonStop platform.

D24 was co-developed by GoldenGate, Insession Technologies and ACI Worldwide, also a TSA company and creator of BASE24 software. Now available through Insession, D24 delivers seamless dual-site processing without significant BASE24 configuration and enables bi-directional synchronization for high availability through instant failover. With D24, customers can be assured that BASE24 files between systems are synchronized in real-time, providing additional advantages in the area of settlement processing and other key business operations. These capabilities are most critical to the banking and retail industries that comprise a large number of customers for Insession, ACI and GoldenGate. Available now, D24 will be demonstrated during the EMEA BASE24 User Group Conference, May 18-21 in Barcelona, Spain.

Customers today are already leveraging ACI's BASE24 transaction processing software in conjunction with GoldenGate's real-time data synchronization platform for disaster recovery, load balancing and zero downtime system migrations for the HP NonStop platform. GoldenGate's ability to move and manage large volumes of transactions across diverse environments makes it the perfect complement to BASE24.

• N24 - Coordinated Processing Between Two Active Systems
  Automates the timing of events between two systems, enabling load sharing and establishing BASE24 backup sites for disaster recovery.
• NEW: D24 - Dual Site Processing for High Availability
  Allows customer and transaction data to be synchronized bi-directionally in real-time throughout the day. In the event of an outage on one system, the full transaction load will be processed on the remaining machine, ensuring continuous availability.

News of the Insession channel partnership agreement and the availability of D24 comes at the same time GoldenGate announced a marketing and co-development alliance with ACI Worldwide. Under that agreement, ACI will market GoldenGate to its BASE24-es customers by the end of this year.
