GoldenGate Software Expands EMEA Presence with HP Reseller Agreement

San Francisco, Calif - December 12, 2005 - GoldenGate Software Inc., the leading provider of transactional data management solutions, today announced that it will expand its presence in the EMEA region through a key reseller agreement with HP's subsidiary in Israel. The agreement will help GoldenGate meet the growing need among organizations to manage transactional data in real time across heterogeneous environments.

In addition, GoldenGate expanded its EMEA operations to support growth in the region with the recent hire of Richard Dobber as general manager EMEA. Dobber will oversee the company's international sales and alliances from its EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam, The Netherlands. Through its long-standing channel partnerships, GoldenGate has successfully deployed solutions for high availability, disaster tolerance and real-time data integration with 50 customers in 18 different countries across the EMEA region today.

Under the terms of the agreement, GoldenGate's solutions on a wide range of platforms including Oracle, DB2 Mainframe, DB2 UDB and MS SQL Server will be sold by HP Israel. In addition, HP Israel will provide technical support and professional services, and has completed sales and technical services training at GoldenGate's EMEA headquarters in Amsterdam, The Netherlands.
