BP4: Best practices with GoldenGate and HP's NonStop SQL/MX

NonStop SQL/MX is HP's flagship database on the NonStop platform and has recently been added to the large number of databases supported by GoldenGate. This technical session provides an overview of how SQL/MX is supported within the product as well as providing useful tips and guidance on how to successfully deploy and manage a GoldenGate environment with SQL/MX.

Bio: Simon Whitworth - Development Manager of Mainframe Products, GoldenGate Software

Simon Whitworth has been with GoldenGate Software for 18 months and is currently managing the development teams working on the HP NonStop and IBM z/OS DB2 platforms as well as the DB2 (Linux, Unix & Windows) product. He was the technical lead and actively involved in the implementation of support for HP NonStop SQL/MX in the GoldenGate product. Simon came to GoldenGate with a solid background in HP NonStop technology, having spent 10 years working in the database replication arena in HP's NonStop division and working on the HP NonStop platform for Barclays Bank in the UK before that.
