Ali Kutay
President & CEO
Ali Kutay joined GoldenGate in 2004 and is focused on providing the strategy and vision as well as driving execution that will enable GoldenGate to secure its leadership position in the market. Previously, from 1999 to 2003, Mr. Kutay was the Chairman and Chief Executive Officer of AltoWeb, Inc., a provider of e-business infrastructure software. From 1997 to 1998 he was a director, President and Chief Executive Officer of WebLogic, Inc., the company that pioneered the Application Server technology which became one of the major building blocks of web-enabled applications. WebLogic merged with BEA Systems, Inc. (NASDAQ:BEAS) in 1998 forming one of the major infrastructure software providers in the industry. Previously he was the President and CEO of Lockheed Martin Corporation's Commercial Software Business Unit, Formtek, from 1990 to 1997. Formtek, one of the first client-server software firms, was founded in 1983 as a Carnegie-Mellon University spin-off and was acquired by Lockheed Corporation in 1989. At Formtek, Mr. Kutay served at various roles including its President and Chief Executive Officer from 1985 to 1989. Mr. Kutay holds a B.S. and M.S. degree in Engineering from Middle East Technical University and has completed graduate work at Carnegie Mellon University. His graduate and thesis work at Carnegie Mellon was the foundation for Formtek. Ali Kutay serves on several public and private company boards.
Tim Rathbun
Executive Vice President, Marketing & Product Management
Tim Rathbun is responsible for the company's product management and marketing activities. He has also been directly responsible for aggressively building out the company's product support capabilities, and he has overseen product implementations and development efforts for hundreds of GoldenGate clients around the world. Prior to joining the company, Tim worked as a manager, technical lead, analyst and consultant with companies such as Bank of America, Ross Stores and Pacific Bell. He holds a bachelor's degree in economics from the University of San Diego.
Deborah Eudaley
Senior Vice President, Finance and Operations
Deborah Eudaley leads GoldenGate's finance, legal and human resource teams, providing financial leadership and insightful counsel towards achieving corporate goals. Her broad experience includes twenty years in public and private high tech (software, hardware and services) companies during periods of high growth and restructurings. As a private company CFO (Placeware, Alibris, and Indivos), Ms. Eudaley accomplished private equity and bank financing, acquisitions, financial planning, reporting, compliance, revenue recognition and internal controls. Her public company experience includes senior financial management positions at SGI, Oracle and TRW. Ms. Eudaley earned a B.A from U.C. Berkeley and an MBA in finance at the California State University at Hayward.
Patrick D. Quirk
Senior Vice President, Worldwide Sales

Patrick D. Quirk is responsible for worldwide sales at GoldenGate Software. Prior to joining GoldenGate, Mr. Quirk was EVP of worldwide operations at Keynote Systems Inc., the leader in providing services that improve online business performance and customer experience. Mr. Quirk has more than 25 years of experience in enterprise software management, research and development, marketing and sales. He has held a number of senior executive positions in large successful enterprise software organizations. Previously, he was the general manager of PeopleSoft's Enterprise Supply Chain Management division where he led the strategic direction, product development, global marketing, and customer support of PeopleSoft's award-winning solutions. Additionally, Mr. Quirk led the evaluation and acquisition of JD Edwards for $1.7 Billion which was the largest software acquisition in ERP and PeopleSoft's history. Before PeopleSoft, Quirk was the vice president of strategic accounts at i2 Technologies, vice president of the Americas and Asia-Pacific for Aspect Development (acquired by i2), vice president of worldwide sales at Connect Inc., and vice president of the Americas for Avalon Software, an ERP company. Patrick Quirk holds a bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering from the University of Wisconsin-Madison.
Lisa Schreiber
Senior Vice President, Technical Services
Lisa Schreiber heads up GoldenGate's worldwide technical services and support teams. Formerly, she was senior vice president and chief information officer of the U.S. Trust Corporation, a wholly owned subsidiary of The Charles Schwab Corporation, where she provided a wide range of technical solutions and support services for the firm and its clients. Ms. Schreiber has more than 20 years of experience in the information technology field, including four years heading software development for Services for Investment Managers, a division of Schwab Institutional. Prior to her tenure at Schwab, Ms. Schreiber was director of worldwide computing services at Apple Computer, and also worked for Bank of America for many years. Ms. Schreiber earned a B.S. in computer science from the University of Pittsburgh, Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania.
Rick B. Ainsworth
Vice President, Indirect & International Sales
Rick Ainsworth is responsible for all facets of international sales, business development of partner relationships and channel strategies at GoldenGate. Rick joined GoldenGate after spending several years at the company's distribution partner, ACI, a division of Transaction Systems Architects (TSA). There, as vice president of global sales, Rick developed various channel partner relationships and managed an international sales force. Previously, he held several senior sales positions within TSA and at Mozart Systems Corporation, a privately held provider of client/server-based application development solutions. He holds a bachelor's degree in political science from UCLA.
Sachin Chawla
Vice President of Products
Sachin Chawla brings expertise in real-time data integration and high availability to his role in driving product development at GoldenGate. Most recently, Sachin was vice president of data integration at Business Objects following its acquisition of Acta Technology, Inc. in 2002. He was a co-founder and CTO at Acta Technology, which delivered data integration solutions. Before Acta, Sachin spent five years at Sybase, Inc. where he was a key lead in the development of Sybase's Replication Server product line. Prior to his time at Sybase, he spent several years as a software engineer for IBM. Sachin holds a bachelor of science in electrical engineering from the University of California Berkley and a masters of science in computer science from Stanford University.
Alok Pareek
Vice President, Technology
Alok Pareek is Vice President of Technology at GoldenGate Software since 2005, providing vision, technology and research direction across data integration and high availability solution areas. He manages the advanced technology, research, platform technologies, and the center of excellence teams. Alok directly works with customers at the leading edge of deploying real time technologies to solve business problems. He brings more than 10 years of database kernel design and development experience from Oracle's Recovery/High Availability area. He was responsible for the redo generation component of the Oracle database from 8i to 10.2, and has numerous significant (patent-filed) contributions at Oracle and GoldenGate. Alok has authored numerous published papers and has presented at industry conferences including Oracle OpenWorld, SQL Server PASS, and AFCOM. He holds a graduate degree in Computer Science from Stanford University.
Sami Akbay
Vice President, Marketing and Product Management
Sami Akbay is the Vice President of Marketing and Product Management for GoldenGate Software, overseeing corporate, field, product marketing and product management functions. He has more than 13 years of experience in systems and data integration, product development and marketing across the software, financial services and consulting industries. Mr. Akbay held numerous marketing, consulting, and technical positions at Embarcadero Technologies, AltoWeb, Thaumaturgix, Rabobank Nederlands, Hearst New Media, MediaMetrix and American Stock Exchange.
